Default stock manifolds and cats

How fast will a Ls1 go with stock manifolds and cats. What is the quickest time you have with them. I am not interested in dyno numbers just times of cars with manifolds and cats n/a. Thanks

I'm going mid 11's right now. I feel that at this point I need to move to headers to make any more appreciable gains.

Cool

I've gone 12.2s with stock manifolds and cats, plenty of others have gone quicker though, quite a few in the 11s with a cam, heads & cam and/or nitrous I'm sure.

Maybe even high 10s on a heads and cam car with a bottle though few have tried that.
Imagine an all out stroker motor with a 200 shot with stock manifolds/cats.

Thanks for yor responces, the reason I ask is a friend just sent a completely stock 2000 Formula to MTI for the following mods corsa cat back, mti airlid, ported throttle body, ls6 cam, stage II ported heads, vigelante 3200,transgo shift kit, Dyno tune and ls6 intake, car was 323 equipped from the factory. He is going to put the 255-16 M/T drag radials on it and he asked me what I think it will run I said 12teens and possibly faster. I just wanted some feed back because most cars have headers before this level of modification. Should be a real sleeper.

One of my buddies here is running low 12's sprayin on the stock manifolds?

Is there a particular reason why your buddy didn't get headers? Emissions.. actually tryin to build a sleeper?

But just let him know that he's leaving alot of power on the table with those damn manifolds.. At least buy a set of used shorties. still emissions legal.

Its both I guess, and he knows he is leaving performance on the table but what is more fun a car that looks like it runs in the 11's and does or one that looks like it runs in the 13's and runs 11's. My last car was a 69 383 super bee that looked completely stock and ran 12.40's and I am telling you it was a blast.

I'm on the bottle. In my opinion it doesn't matter how you get there it only matters who is quicker

I'm stock internals as well.
