Default Is a 90mm FAST inatake and tb overkill for this setup??

TR230 cam, AS heads set up for .575 lift. I looking into an off road pipe and cutout as well for the exhaust side to help. What do you think. I am just tired of looking at my LS6 intake. Need something different to grab attention at car shows!!!

I am planning on a winter project. Already got the heads.

90mm would work... not sure I'd be looking at it for show appeal though

But at least it is different. I was just concerned the bigger intake and tb is to much for just a tr230 cam and heads.

I dont think it would be too much, but i would wait and see how the LS2 intake stacks up to the fast, i know thats what i'm going to do. Just a thought but if you are going to be going for a mainly show appearance, what about the BBK intake, I'm not sure if it has hit the market yet, but i have not seen one on anybodys car and you could get it polished like the holley intake.

I was under the impression that the 90 mm F.A.S.T. intake was for engines with more cubes. I would go with the 78 mm. And you can use the Tb you already have.

The 90 seems to be working well on stock cube motors. This sort of surprised me really. I will be deciding between the fast w/ 90mm TB or the ls-2 myself for my 6.0 w/ the trex. I also show mine and hope to run 10's on the motor. I think the fast with the billet tb has a very nice look to it for sure. A nice paint job on the intake will look great too. It a hard decision seens how you already have a pretty good intake.

If you say heads are already bought, then why the hell not? Sounds to me like you aren't stopping at the heads. Keep on modding and get that 90
