Dismantling PCM connector HOWTO
The grey plastic covers on the red and blue connectors are held in by 6 clips each. 2 at either end and 2 nearer the middle.
By pressing these in carefully with a small bladed screwdriver, you can take the cover off. The mounting bolt will not be a factor here.
You are then left with either blue or red transparent covers underneath. These are held in by another spring clip at each end and come off easily.
The key word here is GENTLY, people...
Once off the individual pins are exposed. These are removed by carefully bending out the white prong by the pin and unhooking the pin from the white plastic. The wire can then be pulled through the rubber.
Easy when you know how...
