Default Lights flickering??

I have noticed that I am getting a flickering in the lights when I start the car, sometimes it doesn't happen and sometimes it does. The battery seems strong, not sure if the alternator is taking a dump or what. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

what are your current mods? have you been dyno tuned? i've heard of this kind of surge when running even slightly rich.

have you checked all your belts? any squeeks?

Macedo CNC 4.8 heads, TR 224 cam, LS6 manifold, Grot Long Tubes, Corsa Catback, Cartek cltuch, Moser 12 bolt 411s, Carbon FIber driveshaft, QA1 shocks, Metco control arms, BMR torque arm, free mods.

I'll check the belts, but since it is not a consistant problem, I think it may be in the alternator or battery. The car and computer have been dyno tuned at Macedo Motorsports, air fuel is 11.5 across the board.

My lights flickered all the time until I bumped up the idle a little. IMO, these motors idle a tad too low from the factory.

Mine did the same thing. Checked the battery, and had a post going bad on me. Too bad I was found it because I ignored the problem and found myself stranded at the PetSmart for hours.

My friends 94 LT1 has the same issue, but the problem only occurs after hard acceleration. The car never does it in normal driving and we can't figure out what the problem is.
