Question What gives with my A/C

Alright, so the a/c blows cold and everything, and it'll do it for a good while. But, after that good while is up, which is about 30-45 minutes, it just kinda dies. The highest setting blows less than the lowest setting, and isn't very cold at all. So I'll turn it off and roll around with the windows down for a bit. Then I'll turn it on about 30-45 minutes later and it's all good. Blows cold and hard all over again. What's the deal here? TIA

OK I'm confused ; does it lack blower speed or just duct temp? I'm thinking duct temp get warm? Does the A/C compressor stay engaged when this occurs?

It just lacks power. The very small amount of air it puts out is still cold, but its hard to feel at all. And yes, the a/c compressor stays engaged.

So it is loosing blower speed then? It's not diverting the majority of the air flow to the defroster ducts is it?
I have seen the rare occation of a bad blower motor & slow rpm's.
Have you checked the blower connectors out & made sure nothing melted or otherwise poor connection?

Sure haven't. I've got some work to do on the car today, so I'll go ahead and check them. Problem is, I don't know where to look. Little help?

Sounds like the system is freezing up, could be low on freon.

I was thinking that myself. When it first happened, I thought I was out of freon. But then I tried it again a little later and it was working again.
