Default Header/Cat Rattle

My QTP ypipe rattles when I just start the car and let it idle. Once i get going it does stop. What can i put between the cat and floorboard to prevent this? Can I put a small piece of rubber on the cat?? Thanks!

Default

if you do, i would make sure it's made of Viton material....it's a high-temp rubber material that's used for making gaskets and such...it is a bit on the hard side, tho, so you may wanna use a thin layer of the Viton, then another layer of some type of softer rubber on top of that for absorbing the vibration

be warned, though....Viton is pretty expensive
