GMMG or Borla
If I've got the money, and I can make my payments for college... I'm gonna get rid of the slowmaster muffler. I like my tips- they are stainless rectangle tips like the stockers but the inlet is in the center. I know both catbacks are stainless and both 700 bucks. I just wanted some opinions on which one you all think sounds better. Is it just me or is the borla deeper?

Hey I am going off to college in a month but I still want to get in on the GMMG before I go. If you hurry, there is a group purchase on this website and you will save 125 bucks off of the regular priced system. Originally, it is 700 bucks with the oval tips an add. 150. With the group, the original system is 600 bucks since you want to keep your tips. Go jump on the deal and it will be cheaper AND better sounding then borla. So far, 37 people have gotten in on the purchase. How many have borla????? GO WITH GMMG!!!!

Have you actually listened to both the GMMG and Borla cat-backs in person?
Because if you have, you'll notice that the GMMG is definitely deeper sounding throughout the entire rpm range (especially in the higher rpms). I've had both, so I know this to be "fact."
GMMG just sounds like a muscle car exhaust while the Borla sounds completely different IMO (not necessarily bad, but totally different tone). And the GMMG sounds waaaaaaay better with headers and any kind of internal engine work.
So to answer your question, yes, the GMMG is a deeper sounding exhaust on any LS1 set-up (stock, mild, medium, or heavily modified) than the Borla...

2000LS1Z28 : You are the kind of guy i was looking for. Thank you for making the decision for me. I'm either going with the gmmg or dual chambered over the axle.
