Two on the left
I have a 2000 SS & a friend gave me a 2OTL FROM A 96SS because he installed a Flowmaster. My question is will it fit my car & would it have any flow advantage?

Hmm, I think the LT1 cat backs are slightly different but can be made (altered) to fit possibly?
The SLP 2OTL (for the LS1s at least) is a great exhaust, supposedly one of the best flowing cat backs (among those with a real muffler) out there.
My brother has one on his LS1 and it sounds great.

Ask your friend how it feels to have made the biggest mistake of his life. Yeah, it'll fit your car except for the part on the I-pipe where it meets the Y-pipe will have to be modded (thats if it came with an I-pipe). As far as flow advantage goes if you don't have the dual dual exhaust option, then get this 2OTL put on as soon as possible.

I ask him how it feels to be driving a dump truck now. All i have is the muffler with the two ss pipes. I checked the dia. & it will fit my over the axle pipe. It has a flat shaped L bracket where mine has a round rod bracket. How do you know if it has the restricter cone in it?
