Default Porting TB

I recently blew up my 10 bolt and have ordered a Moser 12. I want to make up for the new weight I will be adding by doing a small mod. I have most bolt ons and dont want to do nitrous or heads till I run my 11.xx. (running 12.07 atm). I was thinking about porting the TB, but some people I know say the stock one flows just fine. Any ideas on what I could expect if i do this mod? MAF is stock.

Thanks,

Mike

I did my own and it came out pretty good. It helped out and got my mph up a bit. For the money it took to do it I'd say it was worth it.

I would have someone like Jantzer, Baur, etc. do it. They do A LOT of them and know what they are doing. And it isn't all that expensive.

A ported TB can usually get you around 5-10 rwhp. I am going in Jantzer. I have heard good things about his TB, cant wait to get mine

5 to 10 is also what I hear, but I'm told that the best part is that the throttle response is better. That's what I am looking forward to. I should have mine next week.

What he said, it's pretty easy. Just take your time and it will be as good as any that you would pay for. Here are some hints-

Plenty of other pics and step-by-steps if you try a search.
