Street Pro Cutout Install
Installed a Street Pro Cutout in my 2001 Z28 this weekend. Really nice product. Matt Diamond of Gearhead Garage in Gilbert AZ welded it in. We had to bang on the body under the rear seat to get enough clearance for the butterfly plate bellcrank and motor. The cutout is completely horizontal and nothing hangs down so it has great ground clearance.
I wired in on Saturday. Put the rocker switch in the little compartment on the front of the center console, so it's kind of hidden. Works great. I think this is the best exhaust system in the world. Just a quick push on a rocker switch and I can have awesome sound and better performance than even the best catback. Then another push and I have a quiet stock sounding car for long trips.
Thanks,
Glenn

I just got one too but I haven't had time to install it. I'm not sure if I am going to clamp it in or weld it. Glad to hear your happy with it, I can't wait to put mine in! By the way, are there any problems with leaks or rattling?

Seals very nicely and I hear no rattles. Opens and closes very quickly. I'm impressed! I attached the photos, note that I was planning to put on a turndown and that's why so much of the car is dented in. Don't see the real need for the cutout now that it's done. I'll post the photo of the switch later tonight.
Thanks,
Glenn

Sorry, there is a typo in my last posting. It should read, "Don't see a real need for the TURNDOWN now that it's done." I love the CUTOUT!!!
