Default Long Tube Or Shorty Headers???

Hi Guys,
I have a 2002 WS6 M6 and I'd like to know what is the difference between long tube and shorty headers.
Which one should I get and WHY???

Long tubes, because they are umm, longer.
Long tubes will make more power for not that much more money.

You get more of a gain with LT's than shortys.. also.. Shorties cost even more than some of the LT's..
