where can i buy an y pipe the bolts up the stock manifolds without cats, could someone please help me out, maybe a link, thanks an what do i do about the o2 sensors????

Do you plan on ever getting headers? If so don't waste your money on this. Gains would be minimal.

Otherwise I believe Thunder sells the Mufflex "cat delete" pipes.

Those are stainless....I'm sure a local exhaust shop could rig somthing up much cheaper.

I think Mac makes one (but only for '98s and '99s) and Bassani as well but I would save up for headers before dropping almost $300.00 on those.

The SLP Y pipe bolts directly to the stock manifolds.

Don't know about without the cats though.

No, the SLP Y bolts to the tails of the stock cats.
I believe Mufflex sells an "off-road Y" that has no
cats but bolts to the stock manifolds.

The stock cats are the substantial restriction,
not the Y plumbing itself. There should be some
gain there. However I would not expect anything
much over just gutting a spare pair of cats (if
you feel like saving your stockers).

i would like a set of headers but i hear there so damn hard to install on these late model camaros, iread a bunch of post an every seems to have a lot of trouble installing them, anyone live in maine wanna hook em up for me ill pay em,lol, maybe ill gut my stock cats till my headers come in, thanks everyone

It's not that bad. Installing headers on these cars is A LOT easier than many others.

If you have time, tools, and a little know how it isn't that dificult.
