Default Pacesetter Y-pipe

Would I gain much power if i put a flowmaster merge collector on the pacesetter y? I remember how ugly the y-pipe merge looked when i put it on, but now that i have a cam i'm wondering if that will be costing me much power. Anybody have any experience with this? I'm just curious if it's much of a restriction. thanks

You won't gain much if any power, but it will clean up the sound of your exhaust. Alot of people have said that installing the Flowmaster merge helped to get rid of some of the rasp from their exhaust systems.

More flow is always better.
