You will feel a small gain on the top end, but all cat-backs pretty much only add around 5 rwhp, its mainly done for the sound. I have the slp LM and LOVE it! It sounds good at idle, and absolutley screams at high rpms. Over 3K rpms and everyone around knows your coming. However, its not for the faint of heart, and it does drone a bit. Its up to how loud you want your exhaust and if you want loud then go with the Slp LM. If not get a magnaflow or an adjustable plate borla, but for the money and exhaust tone you cant beat the LM.

no catbacks will add much more horsepower over any other catback, 5-10 is normally the average, most people do it for sound, and no catback will gain more power than a true dual setup, loudmouth sounds great with stock headers, with longtubes w/o cats it gets raspy, with longtubes w/ cats its not raspy as much but very loud.

On an 02 SS probably 5-10 rwhp. Sound is great. If you plan on headers skip the loudmouth. If no headers luodmouth is the way to go.

I love the sound of loudmouth with headers and a catted y pipe. It really really loud from 2500 rpms and up. I think it was a little annoying with stock manifolds though. Also I didn't notice really any difference on power compared to stock exhaust when driving.

my advice is to go with something else if you plan on headers anythime in the future. too damn loud! i love my hooker on lt's and an ory and i hear it sounds even better on a stock car. Ill agree the loudmouth is very aggressive sounding though.

True, but a catback WITH an open cut out just might.

From what I have seen, it does on some cars and on others you need backpressure. Every car responds differently to mods.
