if i was u...id just do it myself and save the money....i did my own install and wasnt a pain like many people think, and since i had the new version of the pacesetter...well they just slipped right in.

I paid $250 to have mine installed. If I had it to do over again I'd probably do it myself and save the money.

Mufflex quoted me at 500 dollars. I believe that is very high. I would also recommend doing it at home, but with a buddy and some beer

depends on the shop but your probably looking at $200-$400. Theres a great header install guide for pacesetters in JRPs sticky. Do it yourself and save the cash for some Duals!

I did the install myself (pacesetters and ory, new pacesetters that is....) and it was easy, just time consuming.... (partly cus i was working that same week, almost everyday). Its easy, and they slip right in....the tough part is getting all the old stuff out (if its rusted, just get a sawzall and a bottle of liquid wrench).

I say its worth paying if you dont have the time...

I paid 150 for LTs and ORY install and had it back the next day

But if you do have the time do it yourself.

Whatever you do don't even bother calling an exhaust shop. I called one around here to find out what they would charge and it was just shy of 800 bucks to install headers and a y-pipe. I think most performance shops will do it for around 250 or so.

Do it yourself for free, it is really easy. I got my old manifolds, old Y-Pipe, and LM exhaust off, and my Jet-Hot LTs, and Lane true duals in all in one day. So instead of spending money to have them installed, you can spend more money on mods!!! Just my opinion

if you've never seen some installed or dont have a buddy who knows how i would have a shop do it...but if you have a buddy or seen it done, do it yourself...I had my headers installed by some one else...the only thing im still not comfortable with is extending the o2's(the electrical stuff)...but thats it...

my mechanic did it very nicely....looks very clean...wires and every thing....for 400$...yes it is kinda high...but i am very pleased with the install!

I paid $400 for header and catted y installation. One of the headers had a prob with the machine work and had an air leak so I had to pay another $100 to have it removed and the replacement installed.

All you have to do is buy O2 extensions, you plug them in to your stock O2 and that extends them how could that be so hard? Really though the header install is super easy just to let you know, plus you get to take a better look under your car and see how easy it really is!
