Default pacesetter headers install/help

I just recently got my pacesetter headers on friday and was hoping to install them today (sat) but upon inspection I noticed that they sent me the wrong invoice for my order. And looking at it I noticed that the invoice says they sent headers for a 2000 ls1 f-body. My car is a 1999 trans am, is there going to be any incomatability trying to install should i wait till monday call back and try and get the right ones or will I be fine these are as stated, for a 2000 with smog and i ordered for a 1999 with smog. I realise that TSP, which are really great, was swamped with orders for their 3inch catted y-pipe, which I also ordered and it took about 10 days for them to come due to back order. Any advice is great. Also the 3inch y-pipe doesn't seem to fit together but in one spot how should i fix this.

I believe the 2000 headers will have slightly different locations for the AIR and EGR tubes, and I think thats it. Look at them and compare them to stock, see if you notice any difference. I just installed my Pacesetters yesterday and it wen't pretty good. Make sure you have lots of bandaids too

The only difference would be the placement of AIR and EGR connections. If you plan to do !AIR and !EGR... then just buy the blockoff plates, and get rid of that stuff.

That's because they are the same 2000-2002.

The only difference between headers are the placement of the EGR/AIR provisions.

I am not sure why pacesetter does that, but all of the pacesetter headers I have seen have 2000 on them

Incorrect, 2001-2002 are the same. 1998-2000 have EGR provisions.

Just get race style headers and be done with it

Actually, due to the different design in manifolds (which took place in 2000), the 00-02 will have the EGR provisions even though 01/02 cars don't have EGR. It's a lot easier for these companies to make them to fit 3 years rather than just one.

At least that's what i'd assume.

so what is eveybody saying is that the 2000 f-body would fit on a 1999 f-body with no issues..
