Default Cylinder head grounding bolts

What size grounding bolt goes into the rear of the passenger side head? I believe the driver side was 15mm but I'm not sure of the length. It appears that the bolt came loose and there are a few wires which are supposed to mount back there.

Think it's possible to put it on correctly without pulling coils or valvecover?

I believe the thread and pitch are M10x1.5 and is very short ... like maybe 25mm.

I am pretty sure that the passenger side has a bracket that holds a wire loom. I did not put mine back in. No wires are grounded on the pass side. There are 2 gounds on the drivers side.

If its an a4 the dipstick tube is secured with a bolt on the pass side. I have seen this on 98 00 and 02. Not sure about 99 or 01. Probably the same tho.

BTW if you need to test the bolt before you put it in just use the holes on the front of the pass side head. They are the same.

That's excellent advice. I wouldn't have thought to tell him that.

It's all about a mechwrench. They work great on those bolts.
