Default kooks catted y

Any buddy have a pic of one? From the one pic i've seen, it looks like both cats come right off the headers?

No pics, but have one myself. Yes, both cats slip directly over the header collectors.

Like he said. This is why the Kook's Y tucks up so high.

I thought I might have a couple of pics, but I don't. I will try to get some for you. It is a very nice Y pipe though, and the cats do clamp dirrectly to the headers. Very nice fitment. I have them in stock if you need one!!

Cats need heat to work properly, unless you are talking about heat coming up into the cabin, which I KNOW is not an issue.

So are the kooks header collector shorter than others to allow this? Hows the ground clearance? How come other manufactures don't do this?

SLP does this, too...

Only difference is that it hangs LOW

I'm not sure as I've never done a side-by-side comparrison. The ground clearance on mine is very nice. I have my ride lowered all around by about 1.5", and have yet to scrape them on anything. My SLP SFCs hang lower than my headers/y-pipe.
