Is it possible to have an exhaust leak that one could not hear and said leak to cause a lean condition on one bank of ones motor? This lean condition only occurs "off pedal"...exhaust leak or intake?

And if so, how would one go about detecting said leak if you can't hear nor see it?

One could have one's freind block the exhaust pipes while one is under the car listening. Doubtful that said leak would cause a lean condition.
