Default O2 Sensors interchangeable front Vs. rear?

I bought LT headers a few years ago. I also have SIMS for the rear O2 set.

I'm considering new O2s for the front (failed emmissions). I can't remember if I used the stock rear sensors in the front headers as a result of their cables being longer than the stock front sensor set.

When I buy the new sensors, should I request the rear set from the parts dealer so the cable from the LT collector will reach the electronic connection?

The front and rear O2s are interchangeable;right?

You may need a different O2 sensor. With headers, the fronts may not reach the required temp. to operate properly. The recommendation is to use rear corvette sensors.

I'm fighting this problem now but don't have a solution.
