Default Do I need to replace the intake manifold gaskets...

after removing the intake manifold during a head swap? If so, anyone know the correct part number for the gaskets for an LS6 intake: GM 88894339?

TIA

It certainly could never hurt.

I believe someone made a sticky with all the parts numbers..I will try to find it..it might have been at ls1.com though

well how many miles are on the gaskets? If its very low you won't need to.. They are rubber and don't ALWAYS need to be replaced everytime they are removed.. But like said it wouldn't hurt.. I think brand new ones are Blue in color.. so check the color of yours and see if they are faded and decide from that or the mileage on your car.. Hoep i could help.. Anyone correct me if i am wrong!

If the car isn't FI and they look ok, then you are fine to leave them, they are pretty strong little guys, and can be reused a few times.
