Default Do you guys re-use the intake and coolant line gaskets...

when doing a head swap? Anyone had any problems with using the old ones? Just curious as my new heads will be installed this week.

That being said, anyone know the part numbers for the LS6 intake gaskets and the coolant line gaskets just in case I decide to replace them?

TIA

The intake has ruber around each each intake runner not realy a "traditional" gasket. The coolant lines have O rings on the blocks attached to motor. Should be fine to reuse both.

I've reused those gaskets numerous times with no problems.

Yeah as long as there are not any flat spots on the gaskets/o-ringsaround the intake ports. 99% are good for reuse some times the heat frome the heads will not allow them to reseal. Just look at them and make a judgement call it is not hard to take the intake off if it leaks the first time around.
