I did a search before and one of their guys said they do throttle bodies. I called them today and I am about to get it, but I just want to make a thread before I buy it

Interesting, I see they sell GM throttle bodies. I wonder if you can buy one of those and have them port it. That would be alot easier than taking mine off and sending it to some place to have it ported and waiting weeks without a car.

No experience but Texas Speeds other parts are good so I would expect no less for this.

How much are they?

I believe they can do that, but when I called they were out of 98's, since I see that is what you drive. My car has been put away for the winter so not having a throttle body is not a problem for me so if I get good feedback on this, I will just send it to them.

I believe they said 100 dollars for me since I was sending them my throttle body and not paying a core. I have had no prior experience with them, I am hoping that if I do this, it will work out well

Except for that one incident where the TB stuck open, I'm sure it's a good piece.

Good Lord

They seem to have been porting throttle bodies for a very long time due to Joseph's post, so that is a plus

Guys, it ain't rocket science...It's just an hr or two with a die grinder and a little epoxy. Believe it or not, I'm not exagerating...Polish or an extra fine finish will not net any better results than a 120 grit die grinder finish. So long that the port-work is fairly uniform that is...It's a very easy/quick job to do at home with simple hand tools and a die grinder-not much more than common sense required. We did anything you could possibly do to them and bench tested it all a couple yrs ago. Just something to keep in the back of your heads when shopping around, the work is not worth more than $100 if you provide the core. Now, if they were overbored, that'd be a completely different story...
