Default Got a few questions for you 90mm LSX boys

hey guys im ready to order my intake and tbody, i will be getting the fast 90mm LSX intake and FAST 90mm tbody, did any of you guys have any issues with the intake other than the tbody? i assume this intake comes with new intake port gaskets and tbody gasket correct? Im putting this on my Stock bottom end HC setup with a 230 232 cam, so my question for the 346 guys is hows the idle or how hard is it to get it to idle? any drilling or bumping up the idle screw or what? It seems i read something a while back about the MAP sensor fitment any stories i should know of? im going to use a stock sized MAF because of my nitrous(NX MAF kit) so where are you guys gettin your bellows from that fit from the tbody (90mm to the stock sized maf).
final question, would it be worth sending it to TEA to get them to port it so a set of their stage 2 5.3 intake runners or should i just slap it on and see what she does... sorry for all the questions, thanks for the help.....Kurt

I can answer a couple of the questions:

My intake came with an O-ring throttlebody seal, but no port gaskets...it uses stock GM port gaskets.

I'm bought this bellows for the 90mm throttlebody:

I reused the stock intake bolts because they were slightly longer and held their torque better with no backing out. The MAP sensor is an issue because there is no provision or clip to hold it down like the stock manifold. You also really need to crank the TB bolts down tight. As mentioned above there are intake gaskets included.

It has a o-ring on it and it just plugs into the itake so I just put a bead of silicone around it and it holds mine in real good.

No I already had the heads on for a year but when I get ready to have the heads freshened up I 'll send the intake in too to Absolute Speed and have it port matched to the heads. I gain 27 rwhp & 13 rwtq just by going to the LSX 90mm intake & 90mm TPIS T/B.
