Default TSP duals installed, WOW!

These sunsa bitches are loud! My poor neighbors, they thought my Moderately Built C-10 was loud before, now I bet their really cussin.
I must say they fit nicely for mail order duals. The hard part was getting my old exhaust off. I really love the WOT sound of them. My car sounds like someones short shifting a freakin NASCAR.
I do think their too loud for everyday driving though, maybe I'll get used to it. I want to run them over the axles and out the back. I guess I need a panhard bar and relocating brackets?
Anyways, overall very happy with the product, going to Gainesville tonight to run the car. If I don't post anymore, call the police because my neighbors may have gone over the edge and murdered me in my sleep.

Sweet. I love the sound of duals, but don't have a shop around me to run duals out the back, and since i have a TA, I really want it to have go out the back. With your formy, it doesn't matter since they don't have the formed rear bumper. Glad to hear you like em...now, go annoy those neighbors!!!

Duals sound awesome and the gained torque is the best part. I like mine!

Yea, it's pretty lopey. More than I thought it would be. I just got back from the track and ran a new best.
2.00 60ft
12.17sec @ 118.42mph.

2.07 60ft
12.24sec @ 118.04mph.

2 best runs. The weather was very good, contributed to my times. The duals deffinately helped my top end. The clearance is great, I haven't even scraped on anything either. I like em.

i'm beginning to hate these threads. im stuck between a rock and a no-mods place lol.

i want to order my lt's and true duals SO BAD. but im worried i might be getting lt's for christmas. DAMMIT.

how loud are these things at idle? thats the only thing im worried about since i park under a carport thats attatched to our OCCUPIED garage apartment i've heard they are nice and deep but not very loud untill you stand on it.

What was your best trap speed before the TSP true duals? Much of a gain there?

Thanks, as far as the trap speed my previous best was last week at Orlando Speed World. Ran 116.36mph. The weather was just alittle better last night and so was my driving so I'd have to estimate and say at least 1 mph gain was from the duals. I think I may have lost a little bit of torque between 1000 - 2000 rpm's but not enough to worry about. I had the stock I-pipe over the axle before that was choking my car down. And another good thing, no more banging from the Y-pipe on launches. (it was only alittle before anyway because I have the poly trans mount.
But yes, Moobunny I'd definately say there was a nice gain for me.
TheblurLS1, I'm not gonna lie, these things will be shaking your neighbors china cabinet. Your only hope would be extending the pipes out the back. These things freakin resonate at a very low tone with dumps. I see bolt-on Mustangs with dumps around here that are half as loud.

Hey Bird, if you get some longer turndowns and point them out a little more I bet it would quieten it down alot inside the car. When Im cruising at steady speed mine is no louder than my Borla catback with stock cats and manifolds.

Check this pic of my tips.

Does anyone have any before and after dyno runs after installing true duals on a cam only, full bolt-on car?
I may have to retract a previous statement about the low end torque. My car still seems to make about the same as far as I can tell, but the butt dyno is not always accurate. I was expecting to lose some, but it's hard to tell if I did or not. Thanks.

My motor is all stock so I cant give you a cam only plus bolt on difference but let me say this. I went from stock manifolds and cats with Borla cat back to longtubes and duals and picked up 5 mph in the 1/8 mile.

That's an awesome gain there. When I had just a lid and muffler, 160ts,fans, & drag radials I went 12.97 @ 110 at NED in great weather. (40 deg temps). When I did my Pacesetters & ORY I ran in Gulfport in almost 80 deg. weather (humid) to a 12.82 @ 111.5. I considered that pretty good for the worse weather.
I'm kinda surprised at these duals giving me nice gains, I didn't think I'd see a whole lot, just alot better sound. Not complaining!
Congrats on your good times. How was the weather between your runs?
