Default bunk pacesetter gaskets

Well I learned my lesson....I used the those bunk *** paper gaskets from pacesetter and never even thought about reusin the stock ones.....now i got a header leak reallly bad ont eh back drivers sid ei guess it ripped or somethin. Now its stuck on the head and when i come to scrape it off it still leaves **** on there is it alright if i can get by it and just put a new gasket on there i got from the dealer??

You can use a razor blade to scrape the crude off. Be careful not to gouge the head. Once you get the majority off. Use brake cleaner to clean the surface very well.

I always reuse the stock gaskets..
