Default My clothes smell like fuel after driving my car!

I have dual cutouts on my car, no cats, and my car is BADLY in need of a tune (stock tuning); it will barely hold an idle. The problem is that my car gives me a headache from the fumes with the cutouts open and you can still smell that fuel smell inside the car with the windows up even with the cutouts closed; this is running through a Borla Sportsman XR1. I was hoping that a good tune will help this but I know that Catlytic Convertors are what really gets rid of the fuel smell.

Can someone back me up on the tune? Did it help or change anything at all? Do I have to get cats to get rid of the smell? I don't know how anyone could live with it like this.
If the tune won't help then I will be forced to get rid of the dual cutouts and go to cats and a single cutout in the back.

Welcome to performance.

Joking aside, on a rich setup, dual cutouts will saturate your cabin. It's to be expected. Even if the tune leans you out, there's always gonna be exhaust smell in your cabin to a certain extent with open cutouts under the seats.

Tune it and leave the cutouts closed except for the track.

Also make sure there are no leaks in the exhaust. Mine are starting to leak where the head and header flange meets. I think its from the drivers side header hitting the floor board. The engine mounts are worn and allows the engine to torque over quite a bit. You can see the soot from the exhaust on the head. The fumes are terrible when sitting at a light.

Check for leaks, and leave the cutouts closed.

My car is tuned, I do have a small leak at the header and it smells bad. Cant even run A/c or heater when stopped. I always thought it was just a consequence of not having cats b/c i only had this problem before when i had my cats when the cutout was open.

my car is tuned and i have 3 electric cutouts and smell like fuel. Smelling like fuel is something your not going to be able to get rid of unless you put your cats back on, that will help

Having a big cam with positive overlap will make the smell worse...
