Default Can we rebuild our water pumps?

I was just wondering if we were able to buy replacement seals, etc?

Been in the field long time & found that aluminum water pump housings are not forgiving. Having bearings pressed out & in to the castings sometimes proves to be to much. They just start leaking or fail in short order. I usually opt to go with new for those reasons.

Sucks, hopefully a new one isn't too expensive.

Reminds me of when the water pump went out on my 86 Iroc. Pulled it, bought a new one for about 16 bucks, and said, "uh, there a core?" The guy laughed at that.

Hopefully the LSx engines make it to the old school SBC area soon.
