FloTech Headers? Y-Pipe??
Hey I have a 98 SS and im looking into buying some descent headers and a pipe. My question is does anyone know if they are any good?? I have two different sides to them and was wondering if anyone has either of them on their car? Any feedback would be great! Thanks!

I've read less than impressive write ups about their quality. It seems that the flanges and collectors have very thin guage metal, plus one of the primaries has a notch in it.
Otherwise, they're essentially budget/cheapo Hookers with a different collector.

Installed a set and I'll let you know what I know. The headers look fine just like a Hookers with like the standard thin flanges that come with old style headers. The Y pipe was just a little off os I had to start one side and pull the other over to line it up kinda a pain in the ***. but once on there it never leaked and it's been on there for 3 months. Flowtech is owned by Holley whitch owns Hooker too so that is why they look so familar. They were very cheap cost wise and they make good power that is all I know so good luck.

i'd personally step up to the pacesetters if your on a budget.

like jrp said, if your on a budget get the pacesetters. ive seen someone put flowtechs in, and he was not all too impressed with the install, or the quality of the headers, which is what ive heard from most people with them on their car. always remember, you get what you pay for
