Default Intake Swap Problem C5. Help please...

I am half way thru changing the Intake on my 99C5 to the LS6 intake and I can not remove one hose/pipe. The connection is on the drivers side of the intake just behind where the throttle body bolts on. There is a Brass tube that comes out of the intake and a hose/pipe is held on to this tube by a gray clip. I can not figure out how to remove this clip. Anyone have insight on this? Thanks in advance and Happy New Year.

Is it a plastic one like pictured here?:

If so, you can use a small flathead screwdriver to spread that two parts and twist to seperate them.

No, its a plastic clip that is part of the tube assembly. I finally figured out how to compress the clip for removal. The clip need to compressed 90degress from the area that I was trying to use, and a good pull to pop off the tube.
