Default Fast 90 Vs TPIS oval 90 LS6

Fast 90 Vs TPIS oval 90 LS6
Does anyone have and info on comparing rwhp and rwtq or track times of the two intakes on a stock cubes ls1or ls6 motor?

What one do think will make better ET on stock cubes?

Does anyone have real results of the difference between the Fast 90 vs the TPIS oval 90 LS6 on a heads/cam 346 engine? TPIS claims more low end torque vs the Fast 90 and about the same power in the upper rpm range vs the Fast 90.

Both of them move a ton of air, I would seriously doubt you could find any notable difference in performance between them. I went with TPIS strictly because of the problems I've heard about with FAST.

But you are using the TPIS 90mm TB on the 90mm Fast intake not the TPIS mod to the LS6 intake with the oval TPIS TB correct?

Yes, I'm using TPIS on the FAST 90 intake. I've heard some iffy things about the LS2 intake, I think its mainly a quality issue that is fixed if you get some areas in it cleaned up. Jason did flow both of them and said the numbers were pretty damn close though.

I tested both on a max effort H/C car. The Fast 90 made more HP than the TPIS up top (around 10HP up top).

J-Rod, how did the Fast 90 intake compare with the TPIS Oval LS6 on low end torque? Which intake do you think will give the quickest ET?

They were both the same as an Ls6 until you go to the upper RPMs, and then they both pull away. You gave up nothing on the bottom with a FAST.

The FAST was ~+10 on HP and TQ over the TPIS modified LS6 intake....
