Default Has anyone with QTP longtubes lower thier car?

Just wondering how low you lowered it and do the headers scrape as a result of lowering the car? Thanks!

on this board, many people have headers and lowered period. Kooks and QTP tuck up the nicest i think so unless you go Eibach sportlines :yuck: shouldnt worry all that much jsut gotta be careful on speed bumps

im gonna do a 1-1.5" drop (most likely 1 for the look and more weight transfer from front to rear than any lower, as well as some nice handling) and put in my QTP's...SFC's sometimes cause more ground clearance issues than LT's anyways (depending on brand)

The y-pipe will hang lower than the QTP headers do. They tuck up very nicely.

I have Kook's LT and my car is lowered 1.5" and I have no problems with the LT scrubing. My TSP TD scrub every once in a while but nothing major at all.

I have QTP's with the QTP catted y, FWIW the y does hang lower than the headers as others have said, A LOT lower. My car is not lowered and the Y is 3 1/4" off the ground. This is the reason I haven't lowered mine yet, I just can't see having less than 2 inches clearance. I do want to lower it bad, any suggestions?

The lowest part on mine is actually the pipe going to the cat , and 02WS6Bird you live close enough to me to know the kind of car swallowing pot holes we have in this part of the country, I'm lucky I haven't lost any exhaust or suspension with what I have
