Default Backfiring

i've got an '01 camaro ss with the following mods: FTRA, ported maf and throttle body, maf trans, lm exhaust, smooth bellows, and so on and so on... Anyway, my car has been backfiring pretty loud when i shift or let off after heavy throttle. Is this just a combination of mods or is my car running to rich? Im going to dyno it at thunder after clutch and headers so whould i just wait until they tune it to mess with it?? Thanks.

Oh yeah, this site rules.

Your car has always done it, but your stock exhaust was masking it. With your LM, there ain't a whole lot there to mask the sound anymore. Basically, yes, you are running rich...the car is dumping in extra fuel when you let off the gas that is igniting in the exhaust. Many people complain about this when moving to an aftermarket setup, and think something is wrong, but it is perfectly normal.
