Question Borla Exhaust From A 97 Ram Air To A 99 Trans Am

What changes are needed To fit an exhaust from a 97 Ram Air To A 99 Trans Am. My friend totalled his 97 bird last week and I was thinking of purchasing his exhaust system. What are the differences between the two models?

I did this years ago when I took my Borla off of my 95 Z28. I put it on my 98 WS6. It fit fine. I measured the intermediate pipe and cut it according to the 98 pipe. The older cars with the single cat have a different angle of how the pipe goes to the rear of the car. I'm not sure about a dual cat LT1 car though. You might want to measure everything up first to make sure. The only difference about the muffler that I can tell from an LS1 set up is on the driver's side there are 2 pipes coming out of the muffler vs. one pipe for a LS1 Borla set up. Good luck!!
