Default Should I get a MAF and ported TB?

I've got just about every bolt on done, still have stock rockers, MAF (descreened), and TB. The car put down 391 corrected. I've been thinking a ported stock TB, but haven't been on the board looking at much in quite a while. It's ls1 edit dyno tuned, so I'm sure it would require a retune right? My next mod is saving for a rear end to make use of what I already have.

Z06 MAF, or port your MAF and tune for the porting. And get a ported TB. Nice numbers.

you can get 10rwhp out of a nicely ported TB, doesn't need a retune I dont think. As far as MAF goes, I am not sure. I think there isn't much hp gain from messing around with the stock MAF.

Cool. Thanks guys. I'll call Jantzner today and get a ported TB. So no to the Z06 maf huh? It would be pretty cool to put down 400 with a "baby" cam. 224/228 581.

Jantzer98SS is the user you are looking for. PM him and tell him what you want. I just ordered a TB from him a few weeks ago.

I just sent it to Tom at SpeedInc. They did me right on my cam, so I feel good about it.
