Default Cutout

I just installed the Pacesetter LT's and the TSP y-pipe. I have a cutout that will be here tomorrow.

Now my question is I need a small piece of pipe to go from the catback to the ypipe. Would it be ok to put the cutout directly on the end of the ypipe?

Advantages or Disadvantages

A lot of people put cutouts there. One advantage is easy access to it, it'll be right in front of the back wheel and you can reach it. Another advantage is that you're not cutting up your y pipe or your catback to put it in.

The spot I am talking about is quite a bit further up than the rear wheel. This pic from the TSP page shows where I am talking about. The same place that there piece of pipe is missing.
