Default Have a belt problem, need to know a price.

I have a belt squealing and i guess im going to need a new one. Its an underdrive pulley system and i was wondering what the price for a new one will be.

It started just whining just in idle, but then i sprayed some grease on it and it quit at idle, and now it does it when you drive down the road, especially when the rpms are higher, anyone else ever had this problem?

Might want to check into getting a new tensioner as well. Check out the adjustable from Katech, it's a really nice piece. As far as belt length I'm sure any of the sponsors could tell you what you need.

Edit: just saw that you are an LT1 car. Still check out a new tensioner but I'm not sure if Katech makes an adjustable for the LT1. If they do, I would pick it up. Anybody know about this?

A really good one should be around $30. But you have to ask yourself why it has that cut in it. That's why I am thinking about a tensioner.
