Default Choppy idle after computer reset?

Hello all. I reset the computer in my '00 Formula. The idle feels a little choppy. It doesn't surge but rather vibrate a tad evey 10 seconds or so. Is this normal, and if so, how long before it relearns the idle? A4 by the way. Thanks.

i believe this is normal. mine doesn't seem to do it but i've read about others that do. it may take a couple of drive cycles for the computer to relearn. just take it out and drive it a little bit and it should go back to normal shortly

Yeah, after a reset many of them will have some minor idle issues till it relearns. If you want to speed the idle relearn, do a search in the PCM & tuning section for "Idle Relearn Procedure". I'm sure you'll find it there.....
