Default Powder Coat my y-pipe?

I was wondering if powder coat on the kooks aluminized y-pipe will hold up to the heat? The y-pipe looks like crap and its not stainless so I would like to coat it.

Also, the y-pipe can with o2 bungs but no plugs for them. Does anyone know where I can pick a couple bung plugs up? Local store?

I doubt that it would hold up to the heat. For the cost of powder coating you could probably just have it Ceramic coated .

If you can do a powdercoat that will withstand the heat, by all means...my ORX is painted, and flaking. I'm going to try Black Velvet from the makers of POR-15. If that doesn't hold up, I don't know what will...
