Just for future reference once the HP Performance kit is done I will be switching to Turbo. So thats why I'm lowering my compression.
My current Setup is a 383 with Eagle Crank, Eagle 6.2" H-Beam Connecting Rods, and JE Flat top Pistons. Current Compression is stock.
My Question is Which Mod to do Next.
Choice A:>
F.A.S.T. LSX Intake manifold with 90mm TB and TPS is going to cost me $1394.98
Choice B:>
LS1 AFR 76cc 225cc assembled and fully ported $2449.99
I know the gains with the heads will be somewhat limited because it'll drop my compression but they should still be a significant gain in HP. I mean either way I'm gonna gain HP.
Ultimately in a year or so when HP performance finishes their kit I'm gonna end up with Turbo.
But In all seriousness The headers haven't even been installed yet so I don't know what to expect from that. I guess I"m askin as to what I should expect for numbers after I put the headers on then decide to go with either option A or B.
