Default Can I use 90mm TB with stock LS6 intake?

Searched and didn't find an answer. I have a LS6 intake and ported stock TB. Can I install a 90 mm TB (i.e., TPIS) with teh LS6 intake or do I have to get the 90 mm FAST intake?

What are power gains with FAST 90 mm intake/TB over LS6 intake ported TB?

Hey what's up? You can only run a 90mm TB on a FAST INTAKE or a LS2 INTAKE! Better to use the FAST INTAKE,and you would be good to go.We keep these on the shelf, they go like hot cakes!
GOOD LUCK!

What are the power gains over his LS6/ported TB? is the 90mm setup better suited for a cammed, or heads/cam car?

Yes, the 90mm is worth 10-25 rwhp on a heads/cam car and will benefit larger displacement motors as well. You don't need it on a bolton/ cam only car. The LS6 intake with ported TB works fine, don't waste your money getting the 78mm LSX, people aren't seeing any gains out of them over the LS6.

That was what I was thinking. I want to keep everything matched, and working as a system. So when the cam goes in, it will be LS6/ported TB. Later on when I do the heads I may go with the larger set-up. Thanks for the info.
