Port LS6 intake or not?

Default Port LS6 intake or not?
Im getting ready to install an LS6 intake next week, Should I port the intake or not? What area's to port? I was thinking about the injector area? Any info would be appreciated.

U can port them,its not very hard to do but unless you have a mild ported head I wouldnt waste the time.On a set of nicely ported heads I'd say u might get another 2 to 3 RW by porting the LS6 intake.

Cool, I still have my stock 98 heads with 918 springs. I figured if it would help I do it, just trying to get every little bit possible.

With the 98 heads, the LS6 is plenty good enough.

We agree,It is not necessary,we have not seen anyone do that,like one guy said if SO~be very careful!
