Headers/X-pipe
I have a bone stock 2001 Z28 M6 and was wondering what headers i should buy...
I talked to Jason at TSP and he told me that the pacesetter's were a good choice,
Im thinking of ordering the Coated Pacecetter LT's and the TSP X-pipe set up,
What do you guy's think of this set up?
Also Thankx Jason For Your Time And Help...

I like the Pacesetters. Just finished putting them on Wed. They were pretty easy to install. The car sounds nucking futz on open headers. I'd definitely recommend them, they're a good bang for the buck. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
I'll let you know about the TSP X-pipe system on Tuesday, when it comes in.

I've got Hooker coated LT's and the TSP duals. I hope you like loud. And I hope you like the smell of fumes b/c your gonna get both. Ended up putting hi flow cats on mine and changing the mufflers, FWIW.

i had coated headers.... JETHOTs/Hooker.. they rusted in a few months.. the coating peeled off the collectors...
i sold them
I went and spend the money the right way.. I got a set of QTP stainless race headers with their HVM collectors.... never been happier

I'm not planning on a cam anytime soon, at least not until I pay the car off. I told myself that I'd stay out of the internals until I do that.
5POINT7 has a point though. You had better get used to the fumes if you have no cats. The two vehicles previous to this one had no cats, so I'm kind of used to it. I'd think that a tune would help a little bit with the fumes though.
The jury will be out on the muffler until I hear the bullets and decide if I like them. I MIGHT switch to the Sweet Thunders, as I've heard a lot of good things about them. I just need to hear 'em in person and compare the two.
