Default Realistically...how much HP from this...

My dad may take my 01' LS6 intake manifold (off my 01' SS) from me..and my ported throttle body. He has a 00' C5, with Corsa touring exhaust.....with the intake manifold and throttle body, and tuning with LS1edit...how much realistic power could he see?

He is loaded....but does not want to sink money into the car to make a ton of power.

What do you think?

I know it has been discussed..but I did not find much as far as HP numbers...just conversion threads...using the search option.

Is it worth tuning...and will the car have to be tuned anyway?

What other mods does he have if any?

I'd guess 18-24.

What intake are you going to put on your car???

From what I have seen the average TB gain is 5-8 and the LS6 intake is good for at least 10.

That is the only mods he has...just the Exhaust.

I am going with the Fast 90mm intake and 90mm throttle body.

Hopefully I will be picking up the car today...maybe getting dynotuned again this week.

I know this post has been discussed...I just didn't know what real world applications would yield........and I never tuned a car with this little mods before so I was not sure what my dad would see for HP.

First off, the TBs are different, so yours will not work on his car. The manifold on the other hand will bolt up just fine. Tuning probably will not be needed.

True, I was just assuming they were going to convert it over to cable.

Hes right about the tb, it will not fit. But provided it did, I still think the numbers would be 18-24. Good luck with the FAST!
