Default Final Header (in)decision

Ok. I'm thinking of going with QTP headers. I've read some good **** about them.
I just have one (more) question. (always one more. i want to get this right my first time.)
Equal length? or no. I'm looking at a few headers from QTP, QTP LS1 F Body 1 3/4'' Equal Length Long Tube Headers
and the 1 7\8" for a few hundred more dollers.
Any sudgestions would be nice.
OH!!! And when i do this, i'm thinking of just dumping the pipes right out the back of the car (and getting a dummy plug for that damn cat).
Any muffler sudgestions while i'm on this for a true dual dump?
Thanks guys Let the modding begin.

oh!! Will a tune be neccisary when doing a header change? God, i hope not. this is going to break me for a month or 2.

Then I might consider the 1 7/8" in your case, just to cover yourself for the future.
Get the QTPs though either way, awesome headers indeed.
