Default Which gaskets for stg2 heads with crappy headers

Hey guys!
Just got my car running again. I have an exhaust leak around #1 & #3. The shop that put everything together blames my cheap flowtechs and stuck me with the job of repair.

Who has fixed their own leak? What gaskets did you use for ported heads? Gasket sealer? Any tricks or tips?

I used the factory GM exhaust gaskets. From what I have read here, that is what most people are using. You need to tighten the bolts on the header flanges from the middle out. Torque to 11 ft lbs on the first pass and 18 ft. lbs on the final pass (per Helms Manual)

Thanks, Steve.
I might even have a new stock one laying around. When I searched, some people said not to use stockers with the flowtechs. I need to be sure. I don't have enough beer to do this twice.
