Default Pacesetter LT question

I bought a set of Pacesetter LT's p/n72c2255 which are coated, w/ smog for 00-02 cars. My car is a 2001. There's 2 fittings on the passenger side header, I only remember there being one AIR fitting on the front tube of the stock manifold ? My car is in storage for winter.

What's the other fitting on the #6 cyl. tube for

That's pretty lame that you have to put a block off plate on it. The headers should not have the extra fitting on there.

I found the plate in the bag of hardware, thanks. That is kinda lame. I am now wondering if this will interfere at all with the dipstick tube ?

The back one is the AIR fitting and the front one is the EGR. UR plug wire might rub against the Air fitting so u might want to watch that. Dipstick should slide right in it didn't bother it when we installed mine.

I found this picture in my computer I took when I changed plugs/wires.

There's no egr on the 01-02 the front is for my air fitting which is removed in the picture, can't tell from the picture very well but there dosen't appear to be any other fitting on that side.
No big deal I'll have to use the block off plate but I think that sucks. How hard would it be for Pacesetter to make them without the additional fitting.
