Default Few Questions about exhaust.

I already have the loudmouth on stock manifolds and Y-pipe. Im looking at some headers and I beleive im gonna go with the QTP's 1 3/4 inch headers. Im gonna do the catted Y-pipe and all to make it legal for NC emissions. Ive heard alot of people saying it sounds like **** with the LM. Will cats make a difference in that raspy sound or no? I love my LoudMouth now and to me it sounds perfect but im just worried it will be a little overboard with the headers to. Or will people say "Holy $hit that thing sounds Bad@ss"?

Also, whats the point of the X pipes? Do they sound different? Give more HP or what? Thx in advance.

If you get the catted Y-pipe you should have zero rasp. I had a few different exhaust systems with headers/ORY and they all rasped to some degree. But when I added the cats, the rasp was gone.

It called loudmouth, with QTP LT headers your car will scream.
