Default lids....not what your thinking

Ok Im not gonna ask what lid is better, what I want to know is I have an 02 ta and am under the impression that only the SLP lid has provisions for that breater hose to plug in. I wanted a clear MTI but I dont want that hose to be connected to a seperate filter. So am I correct, is the SLP the only one that has the hose hook up? thanks

Pretty sure that SLP is the only lid with the hook-up for AIR, but all you have to do is buy a cheap *** breather filter for the AIR hose if you get the MTI clear lid

I dont wanna have that hose dangling around or have to ziptie it somewhere, I want it to hook into the lid.

The engine bay looks a LOT cleaner without the AIR stuff in there. I ripped mine out a long time ago when I installed my headers.

I have been looking into this as well and so far the SLP lid is the only one I can find with the provision for the AIR tube.

Need to look at LSWannabe air breather filter and how it is connected. Looks completely stock.

You will get no performance advantage to recycling air into the air box.

I bought a Whisper Lid and it came with a tiny little K&N filter for the hose. I climbed underneath and cut the hose off about 2inches from the AIR pump and stuck in the filter. no zip-tying, no dangling.. works like a champ

I thought the little K&N looked fine in the stock hose. Cutting that air hose shorter and then putting the small filter in would not be seen. Good thinking 382WS6.
