Default FYI: GM 85mm MAF Conversion

I'm in the process of converting my WS6 over to a 85mm MAF set up. If anyone else is doing this, you'll need to know this:

GM 85mm MAF:
25168491 (old part number)
25318411 (new part number)

Picked up the MAF on ebay for $23 shipped to my door

GM 85mm MAF 5 Pin wiring harness:
15306173

Local dealer wants ~35 bucks for it.

Another interesting fact of this conversion:

I put the micrometer on my SLP lid and found the outside diameter of the lid is the same as the 85mm MAF = 98mm. The inside diameter of the lid = 94mm as is the outer lip of the 85mm MAF. I used a $20 single rib, 2 piece smooth bellows to plumb it up.

Not bad for $88 bucks.

Is this harness a plug-plug adaptor or a solder-in pigtail?

I used the one from Casper's (to get the in-throat IAT)
which was about the same price.

Are you fixed to program the MAF table?

I am also curious if the adapter is PnP. Also, who'd you buy the MAF off of on Ebay? Was it a dealer that has more? Was that for a used one or new? GM Parts Direct wants $100.

That harness is also $60. Where'd you get yours? I want to do this as well to go with my 90/90. Help a brotha out!

The harnes is a solder or crimp style pig tail. It is a 5 pin connector.

I bought the MAF off an individual on ebay. I see them come up pretty regularly though.

Jimmy Blue - I've been waiting on this connector just so I can dial in the MAF table
